Who knew Lyn is a country girl at heart.
Raised in the northern New South Wales town of Glen Innes in the family farm in Furracabad, from Country Girl to Girl About Town. That is our Lyn.
Lyn remembers fondly the family Sunday lunches at the farm, waiting for all the relatives to drive in from the dirt road anticipating having 30 people gathering around the table.
Besides farming life, the national parks surrounding Glen Innes are part of the Australia World Heritage Area supplying the best trails for bushwalks, hikes and camping trips.
Some of Lyn’s most recommended family activities include fishing ( Glen Innes is a famous spot for Murray Cod fishing), fossicking and bushwalking. It is not surprising that during this part of her life, Lyn developed her love for walking and everything outdoorsy.
She, later on, started seeking the same adventure filled experiences of her childhood through her travels around the world, earning the title of Global Jetsetting’s resident adventure traveller.
Lyn has walked through The Walk of the Gods in Amalfi in Italy, Route Burn in New Zealand, explored the wilderness of Patagonia, hiked the Inca Trail in Machu Picchu and more.
Among Lyn’s future adventure-filled holiday plans include cycling through Croatia and Sicily.
Lyn is one of Global Setting’s founding owners.
She started her travelling career with airlines, then moved onto organising large ski groups all over the world.
